Hallo folks, I would like to invite you to Atlanta's own Christkindlmarket.
These markets originated in Germany, Austria, South Tyrol, in Northern Italy and the eastern French regions of Alsace, Lorraine and Savoy. Generally held in the town square and adjacent pedestrian zones, the market sells food, drink, and seasonal items from open-air booths, accompanied by traditional singing and dancing.
I recall with fondness the many Christkindl markets I attened during my time working in various regions in Germany. Among the many food and drink options that are at this event is the Gluhwein - this is a spiced wine served warm and is especially tasty in the cool autumn weather.
I hope you will consider joining me for this cultural event. I'm sure you will have a great time.
FYI: The Christkindl Market is free admission.
