Last Minute: Everything Under the Sky in Lindenthal!
Sorry again for the very late posting, but I just discovered that this Sunday is 'Museumsfest’… an annual international day for museums offering discounted entry prices for everyone!
Please join me this Sunday afternoon atProtected content , where we can enjoy a special guided tour (in German) by the museum director herself, with entry at a greatly reduced price! The current exhibition ‘Alles unter dem Himmel’ highlights 40 years of East Asian art presented within this convenient state-of-the-art location at Aachener Weiher (in a building designed by renowned Japanese architect Kunio Maekawa). We will meet 30 minutes before the start of the tour, to allow time for a quick InterNations meet & greet, to purchase our entry tickets and to arrange lockers for bags/jackets etc. The nearest bus/tram stop is ‘Universitätsstr.’, then it’s just 2mins walk to the museum.
For those interested after the museum tour, we will take a short stroll to Lindenthal’s inaugural Spring Fair, a cosy nearby street festival which will be offering a selection of local wines and food stalls. There should also be the ‘Unique’ band playing, a young acoustic trio from Cologne, for added entertainment (although I’m not sure of set times yet)…
Sounds like fun? Hope to see you there!
