Le Corbusier. Linkeroever - Chandigarh
Let's enjoy a pleasant and easy-going visit to the MAS in Antwerp, a museum and impressive repository in the middle of the Eilandje (a thriving neighbourhood at the border to the Antwerp Harbour). At the top, on the tenth floor, you'll enjoy a Protected content panorama of the city, the port and the river.
Please have your train tickets ready when we meet at Protected content
Please take into account that it is a 30 minutes walk from the Antwerp Central station to the MAS.
How do residents make use of a city after the architect has gone? And what does the area of Linkeroever in Antwerp have to do with the Indian city of Chandigarh? Discover how residents live in a carefully designed city and learn about the underlying vision of the famous modernist architect Le Corbusier.

The exposition is based on a concept by Cité de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine in Paris and reworked by the MAS for Antwerp. Exhibition realised in collaboration with the Le Corbusier Foundation.
I propose we go for a drink and/or grab something to eat in one of the bar terasses along the Willemdok before we walk back to the Antwerp Central station to catch a train back to Brussels.
I am looking forward to enjoying this excursion with you.
