Fête De L'Europe & Concert

Dear European Friends,

Europe Day is celebrated every 9 May across all Member States to mark the founding date of 9 May Protected content . On that day, Robert Schuman presented his proposal for a united Europe: the Schuman Declaration, regarded as the birth certificate of the European Union.

To mark the occasion, the City of Paris co-organises Europe Day every year, in collaboration with the Paris offices of the European Parliament and the European Commission, alongside numerous institutional, community and media partners.

A festive, community-focused event celebrating Europe, it aims to bring Parisians together around the European project and to reaffirm Paris’s central role within the European Union.

The Protected content will feature round-table discussions, stands run by associations and institutions, food trucks, family entertainment and a grand European concert to close the event.

This event will be an opportunity to reaffirm Europe’s values: a Europe based on solidarity, democracy, respect for the rule of law.
