Concert Peter Frisée - Notre-Dame
Dear Paris-German Friends,
This Sunday, Peter Frisée will give a concert at Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral.
Peter Frisée is an Austrian organist born in Graz.
He studied music at the universities of Graz and Vienna.
Since Protected content , he has been the principal organist at the Church of the Redeemer, Am Schüttel, in Vienna.
As well as giving concerts, he works as general administrator for the Concilium Musicum Wien ensemble and chairs the organ committee of the Austrian Foundation for Architectural Culture. He also teaches music at a secondary school in Vienna and presents a radio programme on the ‘Klassik Stephansdom’ station.
The concert is part of a tradition dating back more than 35 years:
Every year, organists from all over the world perform at the Sunday concerts at Notre-Dame.
