Once again, over Protected content and restaurateurs from the region stretching from Flörsheim am Main to Lorch am Rhein are inviting visitors to enjoy wine tastings and culinary delights at their farms, cellars, wine taverns, seasonal wine bars and restaurants during 10 days of varied events.
The Erbach name first appears under Archbishop Friedrich of Mainz Protected content as a church branch of Eltville. Erbach already had its own chapel before Protected content and became a parish in Protected content .
The Rhine island of Mariannenaue also belongs to Erbach.
The townscape and land ownership structure are characterized by church and noble estates.
The name is an abbreviation of Eberbach, which flows into the Rhine here.
