Sushi is certainly one of the most popular exotic foods in United states, but how many of us know that it is a derivation of the ancient method to preserve fish?
Sushi (sour taste) is the spin-off of Narezushi, a way to preserve fish doused with salt in fermented rice. The chemical reaction helped to save the fish from spoiling so it could have been carried and keep getting the proteins needed.
Uokura restaurant is the chosen place for this month's gathering and to taste some futomaki creation.
