Coffee + Investing in US Markets as a Non US Citizen: Ron Jones
We will meet for coffee at Cherry Creek and afterwards walk to our location to learn about how to invest in US markets as a non-US citizen and as a US citizen. Ron Jones is going to be our Financial Advisor and presenter. Ron is an active Internations member.
Ron grew up in Wyoming, where he graduated from the University of Wyoming with a
Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with an emphasis in Finance. He later attended the Singapore
Institute of Management, earning a Master’s in Corporate Strategic Planning.
Ron has lived and worked in Asia for the past two decades, serving as Regional Director for the Asia,
Middle East, and Africa markets, working with companies such as Microsoft, eBay, and General Motors.
Upon returning to the United States, Ron rejoined the Financial Strategies profession and now resides near
Denver, focusing on helping families and small businesses achieve financial success.
Ron is going to use SOFA- the Society for Financial Awareness's platform-to educate and inspire those who are about to retire or preparing for it.
Ron and I met during the FIFA World Cup this summer, and learning we have the same background, I felt like our community, who is heading towards retirement age-wise, may benefit from Ron's know-how. I may step in, but Ron has more credentials and experience in the field.
There will not be any financial advice, promoting any particular company or investment.
