▪️When most people think of salsa, they associate it with Cuba or Puerto Rico. So why would a city in Colombia call itself the World’s Salsa Capital?

▪️The city of Cali has its own salsa dance style, distinct from the more widespread styles originated in Cuba or New York (which is why the style is also referred to as “Cali-style salsa” or “Salsa Caleña”).

▪️Social dancing is an important buzzword. It mainly refers to dance as a social hobby, and it’s not done for professional or performance purposes, but for entertainment.

▪️On March, 2nd, from 7:30 to 9:30 PM, we will enjoy a Colombian Social Salsa lesson followed by social dancing and drinks at the bar.

🍹🍹 Feel free to quench your thirst and have a break at the bar anytime before, during or after the practise!

☺️ WHO?

▪️Juan, enthusiastic researcher and passionate professor of salsa, will teach us some basic steps and footwork combinations, and will help us to have a better understanding of rhythm and timing.

▪️InterNations price: 10€ instead of 15€ for the lesson, and the social dancing.

🥳 WHY?

▪️If you would like to meet new people, laugh at a fun physical activity and are ready to discover a new world, forget about typical excuses for NOT taking salsa classes - lack of time, motivation, ignorance, fear or any other logical reason - and join us for a fun evening!

💃🏻 🕺Whatever your level is, beginner or advanced, you’re welcome to join us!
