Eating and Drinking in the Middle Ages
Join me for a very interesting event at the Chateau Chillon !
Enjoy a delicious break in the iconic setting of the castle! Discover the food of the Middle Ages and its legendary banquets accompanied by a costumed guide. Then, savor a tasty meal inspired by recipes of yesteryear at Café Byron.
On the menu:
Cardamom beef stew
Jerusalem artichokes, chard with ginger and star anise
Spelt semolina polenta
Le Tailliz
Dessert with almonds, dried fruits, cinnamon, milk, and spelt semolina
N.B. I'm not sure about the availability of entrance tickets on the day so I advice to buy a ticket in advance to avoid disappointment on the day of the event !
