Playing Cards
For centuries people have been playing card games. Join me for this very interesting interactive exhibition at the 'musée suisse de jeu' in Tour de Peilz.
The Swiss Museum of Games invites you to discover *Playing Cards*, an interactive exhibition that traces the long history of cards—from Tarot to Pokémon.
Playing cards first appeared in Europe in the Protected content , likely introduced from the Muslim world and featuring what are known as "Latin" suits (baton, cup, coin, and sword). They were quickly adopted; their ease of use and lightweight nature facilitated their spread during a period marked by the rise of printing techniques.
If weather permits we could have a drink on the boulevard after.
