Join Us for "the Patriot" in Celebration of Independence Day
As part of the America Protected content of events celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States’ independence, we are screening the film The Patriot Protected content early July. The film offers a glimpse into the period of the United States' founding.
The Patriot is a historical drama portraying the American Revolutionary War. Set in the late 18th century, it follows a family man played by Mel Gibson who becomes embroiled in the events surrounding the struggle for independence.
It blends personal stories with pivotal moments of the Revolutionary era, exploring themes such as conflict, loyalty, and political upheaval. The Patriot provides an accessible, though dramatised, portrayal of this historical period.
