Flora Tour in the Gardens of the City Center in English
This time we do an Original guided tour on Nature in the gardens in the center of Rome :). The city of Rome is the "greenest" of the European capitals, with about 65% of the municipal area consisting of historic villas, parks and gardens, most of these however located outside the perimeter of the Aurelian walls.

➤Real oases in the traffic and confusion of the city: The Garden of Sant'Andrea al Quirinale, Villa Carlo Alberto al Quirinale and Villa Aldobrandini. Despite the modest size of about Protected content meters each, in these parks it is possible to find almost all the ornamental species of the city: from those typical of the Italian landscape such as cypress, yew, elm and laurel, to exotic ones such as cedars, palms and acacias, which have come to Rome over the last three centuries. During the visit we will observe some trees with unusual characteristics, present only in these and a few other gardens in the city, such as the parasol tree, whose flowers smell of lemon and chocolate, and the casuarina, whose thick foliage is consisting only of twigs and not leaves.
