The "Cortigiane" in Renaissance Rome Guided Tour in Italian
In the Valentine`s Day we do this particular Tour remembering the Olf Renaissance Time Women in Rome.
At that time some women who were educated by mothers to serve the most powerful men of the time to enter their graces; as evidenced by the story of one of them, "daughter of art", passed to history as "Matrema non vole". To some of them, immortalized by the artists in vogue of the time, such as Imperia, Fiammetta, Vannozza Cattanei, Ortensia Greca, La Fornarina (Raffaello's lover); Our walk is dedicated, which takes place in the places where they lived, in the houses received as a gift from their protectors, between Piazza Navona, Campo dei Fiori and Trastevere.
