Amalfi Coast Road Trip Itinerary (From Rome)
Day 1 – Rome → Naples

Depart from Rome in the morning (approximately 2.5 hours by car).
Explore Naples' historic city center.
Enjoy an authentic Neapolitan pizza.
Overnight stay in Naples.
Day 2 – Naples → Capri → Sorrento
Take an early morning ferry from Naples to Capri.
Spend the day exploring the island, including the Piazzetta, the Gardens of Augustus, or a boat tour around the island.
Return to the mainland in the late afternoon.
Drive to Sorrento (about 1 hour).
Stay 2 nights in Sorrento.
Day 3 – Amalfi Coast
Depart from Sorrento for a scenic drive along the Amalfi Coast.
Stop in Positano to wander through its charming streets and enjoy the beach.
Continue to Amalfi for lunch and explore the historic town.
End the day in Ravello, famous for its breathtaking views and beautiful villas.
Return to Sorrento for the night.
Day 4 – Sorrento → Rome
Enjoy a relaxing breakfast with a sea view.
Drive back to Rome (approximately 3.5–4 hours, depending on traffic).
