On Friday 12th September, Malmö Konsthall will open the group exhibition "Speaking Volumes", a celebration of the supported art studio community!
The artists represented in this exhibition are Nicole Storm (US), Monica Valentine (US), Alan Faulds (UK), Maweuna Kattah (UK), Mattias Johansson (SWE) and David Cheung (SWE). Curator: Lucy Smalley, Malmö Konsthall
They work with a wide variety of materials and techniques ranging from ceramics to installation, drawing to performance. One aspect that unites these artists is their access to supported studios — communities that enable them to develop their singular creative practices and establish themselves as visible and equal contributors to the contemporary art world.
