The Rijksmuseum Boerhaave is a museum that preserves the history of natural sciences and medicine. It preserves a collection of historical scientific apparatus and equipment primarily from medicine, physics, and astronomy as well as documents relating to the individual sciences. The museum received the European Museum of the Year award in Protected content .
