Hello everybody, on June 10th, the German holiday Pfingstmontag and first day of the 70 years of Berlin airlift festivity at Protected content with your bikes, then we ride a smooth 7,0 kilometer route to the airbase to be just in time to see 40 airplanes (Douglas DC-3/C-47, DC-4/C-54, Junkers JU-52, Catalina) land one-by-one starting at circa 10 am.

Along lots of food and beverages served there will also be a music show with Swing & Jazz and a Bob Hope show reenactment as well as Army paratroopers performing a skydive. So lot's to see and do, if you want to join, please purchase a ticket for the day upfront and bring it with you:

06/04/2019: Hello everybody, I just preponed this event by an half hour, as I have seen the schedule now and I don't want to miss the airplanes landing that morning. We should leave the Wiesbaden Hauptbahnhof with our bikes by 08:40h latest - if you want to sleep in, no problem, just call me when you are at the airfield and I will let you know where we are. Also please be advised, no bikes allowed on the airfield, so rather take a cheap bike (or expensive lock) as we will have to leave them somewhere at the gate. Looking forward to you all! Mark
