Let´s Paint Together Again!
Dear art friends,
The basic idea of the workshop for adults are photographs, either taken by participants themselves or brought along, that capture personal memories of people, encounters, and special moments.
Using these personal photographs as a starting point, participants will transfer their memories onto pre-primed canvases (60x80cm). First, they will create large-scale charcoal drawings, which will then be gradually transformed and developed further using acrylic paints. Through the interplay of form, colour, and layering, the original image evolves into a unique artistic snapshot, reflecting each participant’s individual perspective and memories.
No prior drawing or painting experience is necessary. The focus is on enjoying the creative process, experimenting with different techniques, and exploring a personal connection to one’s own images and memories.
This workshop was inspired by the art of Friedemann Hahn. Before we begin, we will take a brief tour of the exhibition to view his original works. Our aim is to create artworks characterised by a bold, expressive style and thick, textured layers of paint.
Looking forward to seeing you.
