Toronto Island Park is one of the more popular destinations for both Torontonians as well as visitors to Toronto. There is something for everyone to do, including rides and games, as well as beaches and walks.

Lets explore the Western aspect of the Islands (Hanlan's point). Bring your own picnic lunch. Please bring equipment for games (frisbee, ball games, badminton).
Instructions on how to get there will be sent out on Friday 3rd. Please look out for this.

We've chosen Hanlan's Point, as this is the least busy of the Islands. However, there is a clothing optional beach nearby, and you may witness transient nudity, as well as same-sex relationships. If this offends you, please re-consider your attendance.

1. Location and Getting there:
We suggest arriving at the Jack Layton Ferry Terminal around 12:45 and taking the 13:15 ferry to HANLANS POINT. You can reach the Ferry Terminal from Union Station by taking the TTC Protected content 510 from Union Station, or by the TTC Protected content Spadina (embark at Queens Quay stop). Or you can just walk from Union Station (its not far!!). Be aware of TTC scheduled closures that may affect your journey (see Protected content ). There is LIMITED PAID parking availableProtected content walk approximately Protected content South, and on your right you should see a bunch or raucous people misbehaving. That won't be our group, but we will be the group next to that group.

2. Weather: Its predicted to be HOT and SUNNY, so dress for the weather. Sunscreen and bottled water are recommended. There is a beach nearby for those who want to swim.

3. What to Bring: Bring your own picnic lunch and drinks. Ontario law forbids drinking alcohol in public places. There is a food kiosk and bar nearby for those who want to purchase food and drink. Bring something tasty for your event hosts. PLEASE bring games (frisbee, badminton etc).
