Let’s Walk Into 2026 Together
Dear friends,
As we step into a brand new year, I’d love to invite you to start Protected content fresh air, gentle movement, and meaningful connection. Whether you’re far from your home country or have made Southern California your new home, this walk is about coming together as a community and beginning the year with healthy, positive steps—together.
Please join us for a relaxed group hike at Oso Creek Trail on
Friday, January 3rd at around 10:30 AM.
Trail details:
• 2.8-mile loop
• 1–1.5 hours at an easy, comfortable pace
• Protected content elevation gain (gentle and manageable)
• A mix of asphalt, dirt, and mulch
• Plenty of shade, grassy areas, and beautiful mosaic art along the path
The trail offers water fountains (with dog bowls) and great amenities nearby at the Norman P. Murray Community Center, including free parking, restrooms, playgrounds, and open green fields. Visitors using strollers or mobility equipment may want all-terrain or adaptive tires due to some surface variations.
This walk is not about speed or fitness level—it’s about well-being, conversation, laughter, and the simple joy of moving in nature. A perfect way to reset after the holidays and gently welcome the new year with intention, kindness, and community.
Feel free to bring a friend, and dogs are welcome too 🐾
I truly hope you can join us as we begin Protected content by side.
We will go for lunch at Terrace on the Green after our hike.
Warmly,
Maryam
