Jekyll & Hyde
by Robert Louis Stevenson, adapted by Paula Brante

How wrong can it be when you only want to do good? What happens when you supress your baser instincts in a quest for purity and virtue? Jekyll & Hyde explores the internal conflict we all carry inside between good... and evil...

“To be free, finally free of the unwanted, unwelcome...”

Horror, humour and tragedy feature as R.L. Stevenson's well-known horror novel has been given new life, and is portrayed by two actors in a dynamic and fast-paced play that toys with theatrical conventions. Set in London in the late nineteenth century, we follow Mr. Utterson as he grows concerned about his friend Dr. Henry Jekyll and his obsession with the shady Mr. Hyde.

Actors: Peter Hallin, Fraser James MacLeod
Director: Richard Pates
Light & Sound Designer: Rasmus Wessman

The performance is in English, and has been carefully adapted to a modern audience. The two actors switch quickly and easily between the different characters of our story, carrying the audience along on this popular journey that has a few surprises up its sleeve!
