Freedom Day Hype
South African Freedom Day is a public holiday celebrated annually on April 27 to commemorate the country's first democratic, non-racial elections held on that day in Protected content . It marks the end of apartheid, the rise of a constitutional democracy, and the liberation of citizens from decades of colonial white minority rule.
