InterNations — A Community for American Expats in Brasilia

Hello to all Americans in Brasilia! Are you interested in getting to know fellow expats in Brasilia? Looking for advice from other Americans, e.g. wondering if there are any bars in Brasilia which will be showing your favorite baseball or American football team’s upcoming match or where to go in town for st■ turkey?

There’s no doubt about it: Brasilia is a modern marvel. The Brazilian political center is a unique city known for being listed by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage site for its futuristic architecture, the avant-garde design, and much more! With the metro and bus services, navigating your way around the city from one place to the next is simple. This also means that if you don’t want to live among the hustle and bustle of the center, you can enjoy a quieter life in Ceilândia or Gama, for example, which are both approximately 40 minutes away from Brasilia’s center.

Although Brasilia has lots to offer, you might be wondering where and how you can meet other Americans in the city. Luckily, InterNations is here to make this easier for you! You’re warmly invited to join the InterNations community. Within our international network in Brasilia, there’s a vibrant circle of American expats from all regions of USA, including New York City, Los Angeles, and beyond.

Hello guys! I would suggest a bar called Godofredo (208 norte), have lots of kinds of beers, nice food and cool ambiance! And for a nice picanha and sausages go to Na Venda (411 sul). Regards!
