Looking to make friends and improve my French ! (Chennai)

I'm a new member here. I moved from the US last year and would love to make new friends. I'd also like to find out if there are any groups around here who meet up for common interests . Since I'm originally from Chennai I'd be happy to assist newcomers to Chennai with any information they might need , to the best of my knowledge!
