Possible move to Kuwait City

Hi there everyone! I have an interview to teach in Kuwait City for Aug Protected content . I would love to know what to expect. I am 48 years old and single. They said I will be furnished a 2 bedroom flat near the school and they will provide transport to and from work. I have a large dog and they said I could bring her too. Can anyone tell me about how dogs are viewed there? I don't drink or party but would like to meet friends over there. Any help would be great. Thanks :)
