Considering moving to Lyon: Software Engineer

Hi, I am considering moving to France to work as a freelance Software Developer. I have good qualifications and I am studying French daily (already able to watch movies and read books easily, not so much to speak).

Me and my girlfriend (French) are undecided about which cities to move to: Paris or Lyon?

She is a project manager for web agencies and we wonder if Lyon offers much employment in the IT sector. We would prefer it because it is a more human size, we know people there and it is near Turin (where both used to live).
