Members of our community have been celebrating summer with a variety of events that bring together like-minded people from diverse cultural backgrounds. From open-roof settings and lip-smacking dishes to venues with breathtaking views and vibrant atmospheres, InterNations members have been enjoying the best of June.
On Thursday, 1 June people of the Hyderabad Out & About Group gathered at Over the Moon to dance and celebrate the halfway point of the year in India. Attendees were encouraged to put on their dance outfits and join in on the fun. The night was filled with great music, drinks, and lots of salsa dancing.
Our Bangalore Beer O’Clock Group had an amazing time at a lovely place that offered some of the best beers on offer. The variety of beers to choose from was impressive, and the dishes were quite lip-smacking. The pretty, open-roof setting added to the already cool, relaxing, and inviting ambiance of the place. Our members got into match day mode and had a great time watching a game together. It was yet another unforgettable time spent together.
On Friday, 9 June our members of the Doha Food Lovers Group had the pleasure of attending a Pakistani Dinner Event. The restaurant was offering authentic Pakistani dishes, including biryani, nihari, karahi, and much more. The food looked simply amazing, and they all enjoyed the unique flavors and spices that made the dishes stand out. It was a great opportunity to experience the Pakistani culture and connect with like-minded people.
The Hanoi Language Exchange Group had a fun get-together over brunch on Sunday, 11 June. The event was held at a brand new restaurant with a wide variety of delicious dishes and drinks. It was a great opportunity for members to practice language skills and to meet new people in a relaxed ambiance. They all had a great time and left feeling energized and motivated to continue learning new languages.
On Friday, 2 June members of our Beijing community had the pleasure of attending a summer event at CJ Lounge, one of the most beautiful rooftop terraces in Sanlitun. The venue offered a 360-degree breathtaking view over the city. They were able to admire the spectacular Beijing sunset while chatting with fellow InterNations members. The atmosphere was lively, and they enjoyed the vibrant evening with their friends.
Our Tokyo Weekend Group went out to see the hydrangea blooming seaside in the Odaiba area on Sunday, 4 June. Odaiba is one of Tokyo’s top hotspots and is located along the Bay. The area is known for its shopping malls and bayside restaurants, but it also has a beautiful park with hydrangeas. They walked at Bay area park for an hour, admiring the flowers that were in full bloom. After the walk, they had an early lunch, which was delicious.
On Thursday, 8 June our Ambassador in Johannesburg threw a Meet & Greet event at a lovely venue in Sandton. Over 120 members had the opportunity to start lasting friendships which span the globe, and to connect with like-minded people. From all the happy smiles, we can say that it was a great evening!

Join the Nicosia Outdoor & Happy Hour Group for a whole day of fun activities on Sunday, 25 June. Start with cherry picking under the morning sun at Ciberunda and visits to the authentic Astromerit Bakery. Platres, Prodromes, Mudulla, Pedulla Villages, Kalopanayiodus (the village with a lift), and a visit to Nicosia Mall are on the itinerary as well. Don’t miss out on this exciting adventure!
If you’re in Limassol and want to brush up on your golf skills, you can’t miss this sporty activity. Join other golf enthusiasts for a 1.5 hour golf lesson from experienced instructors at Elea Golf on Sunday, 25 June. They’ll provide guidance, tips, and techniques to help you improve your golf skills and enjoy the game to the fullest. This event is open to participants of all ages, so you can even bring your children along!
Come and join the Tokyo Culture Group on Sunday, 25 June for a unique experience of Japanese indigo dyeing. You’ll have the opportunity to create an original piece that is one-of-a-kind and perfect as a gift. Currently, the spots are taken but keep an eye out and you might be able to get in!
