I work for Teach A Man To Fish and this year we are launching a business competition between schools called the School Enterprise Challenge. We ran it last year worldwide and we had some amazing entries: Protected content
This year we are planning to run a Nicaragua level competition, in addition to the global competition, and offer local support and workshops to participating schools.
I would like to know if anyone has contacts within MINED, as I would like to approach them about the competition initially, and I'd also like to hear from anyone who is working with local schools and would like to sign them up to the competition.
It is a great way to teach entrepreneurship in a practical, hands-on way, as well as generating some income for the school which they can spend however they want. Additionally they can win great prizes, including a top prize of $ Protected content best school enterprise, and gain links with schools all over the world.
If anyone has any contacts or advice, then I'd really like to hear from you!
