Looking for small monolocale in Milan
Hi everyone. I have been in Milan for about a week and am looking for a very small independent studio type monolocale (independent cooking and bathroom facilities) for a short term let (from now or very soon until the end of July). I am a mature female teaching English on a short term contract. I don’t mind which area of the city, as long as there are really good public transport links to the centre and to the red Metro line. Nor am I concerned about it being modern or being 5 floors up with no lift, or it being a noisy location – in fact I really like living on bustling streets. I just would like a tiny bit of space that is mine and which has a balcony on which to enjoy the summer evenings (and which won’t break the bank in this expensive city).
I have tried the following websites without success (for example places not available soon enough or not available for short lets or hefty service charges) subito.it, easystanza.com, immobiliare.it, kijiji. Therefore, if any of you have any ideas, I’d be grateful for the advice.
Many thanks and Happy Easter.
