Mobile Service between US and Canada (Montréal)

I am relocating to Montreal from the United States. However, I will have to travel back to the US for work, on average for a week every month.

I need a mobile plan that allow me to freely talk, text and access the internet within Canada, within US as well as between both countries.

Does anyone have experience with this, and if so any mobile carriers you can recommend?
