CRUMBS - Longform improvisation that blurs the line between comedy and tragedy
CRUMBS, the legendary Canadian comedy duo from Winnipeg, Canada, can be seen regularly all over Europe. Their sensitive, absurd and always touching stories make you laugh and think and often depict the entire spectrum of human relationships. Whining wives, featherbrained adolescents or tough guys – Crumbs paint their characters so masterly and diversely that they never fail to balance on the fine line between truthfulness and parody. Their absurd and profound humor, the authenticity of their stories and the complete confidence in each other has made CRUMBS the darlings of the improv scene internationally.
CRUMBS have started their improv group in Protected content , after they had been working with several comedy and improv troupes in Winnipeg, Canada. Since then, their unique style has enthused audiences and improvisers around the world. Stephen Sim is the artistical director of the international improv festival in Winnipeg, the IF. He runs the Manitoba improv league in association with the Canadian Improv Games and is also doing stand-up comedy. He has worked as a teacher for improvisational theatre all over Canada and Europe.
Lee White has been working as an actor in comedy since the early 90ies and is also known as teacher for improvisational theatre, especially concentrating on longform improvisation.
