Youth Mobility Visa (applying after arrival) (Munich)

Hi all,

I'm moving from Canada to Munich next month, I am eligible for a Youth Mobility Visa but I'll be doing it after arriving in Germany, as Canadian citizens have the choice to do it after arrival (and I couldn't get time off work to do it before departure). Has anyone had any experience with this before? Would really love any recommendations or just stories of your experiences of getting a work visa or a working holidays visa after arrival in Germany, like how hard it was to get one or how long it took and where to do it etc... Thanks!
