Recipes (Muscat)

What do you cook in Oman? I used to have a number of good recipes in Holland that I used to make, but many of the ingredients are not available, constantly out of stock, different than what I'm used to.... (like certain fresh vegetables, pastry, pesto, readymade sauces and spices...) Does anyone want to share a good recipe with things you can find in Omani supermarkets??? Any would be greatly appreciated :-)
