InterNations — A Community for American Expats in Oslo

Hello to all Americans in Oslo! Are you interested in getting to know fellow expats in Oslo? Looking for advice from other Americans, e.g. wondering if there are any bars in Oslo which will be showing your favorite baseball or American football team’s upcoming match or where to go in town for st■ turkey?

There’s no doubt about it: Oslo may be expensive, but you’ll get your money’s worth. The Nordic capital is a rather compact city known for its modern and clear-cut architecture, efficient public transportation network, and much more! With the network of buses, ferries, and metro lines (T-bane), navigating your way around the city from one place to the next is simple. This also means that if you don’t want to live among the hustle and bustle of the center, you can enjoy a quieter life in Bygdøy or Holmenkollen, for example, which are only a 20 to 30-minute bus or metro journey away from Oslo’s center.

Although Oslo has lots to offer, you might be wondering where and how you can meet other Americans in the city. Luckily, InterNations is here to make this easier for you! You’re warmly invited to join the InterNations community. Within our international network in Oslo, there’s a vibrant circle of American expats from all regions of USA, including New York City, Los Angeles, and beyond.
