"Jazz manouche" suggestion (Paris)

For the ones who love or would like to discover "jazz manouche" in the tradition of Django Reinhardt, I can recommend the free sessions that are held EVERY MONDAY from 21.30 onwards at "Le Piano Vache", rue Laplace, Paris 5th

(nearest métro station is line Protected content . Take the exit "Pantheon - rue des Carmes", go up the hill on the rue des Carmes and you fill the rue Laplace at your left almost at the hilltop)

The 30-years-old bar is a Paris institution among students, former students, and others that love a style which is more alternative and authentic. The other days of the week they have different music styles (not live music though), but Monday is Jazz day.

People working at the bar are very friendly and all speak also English.
