The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia wishes to inform that the 15th edition of the Bike Festival promoted by Società Sportiva Dilettantistica BiciRoma a.R.L, will take place in Rome on Sunday 5th May Protected content it is an event aimed at promoting cycling and sustainable mobility and at safeguarding the tangible cycling heritage in the city of Rome.

In light of the key mission of this initiative, the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Rome had decided this year to sponsor the event as a partner of Biciroma, by virtue of the fact that great attention is placed upon these issues by of the Kingdom, above all in the framework of Saudi Vision Protected content , specifically, of the "Quality of Life" program within the same.

In this regard, a new sustainable urban development plan was recently launched in the capital Riyadh, which aims at urban "wellbeing", at achieving sustainable urbanization and a healthy lifestyle that meets the objectives of sustainable development of the United Nations, promoting urgent measures against climate change; in the heart of the city a new and emblematic attraction for well-being and health will be the Sports Boulevard, characterized by a Protected content long professional cycle path that will cross the city and the surrounding valleys: the first of its kind in the region.

Hence, HRH Prince Faisal bin Sattam bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Ambassador of the Kingdom in Italy, Malta and San Marino, therefore wishes to invite to take part in this initiative, which intends to convey an effective message of awareness to sustainable mobility and respect for the environment. The color of the cycling parade this year will be green and the slogan of the event is "Riding into the Green", in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision Protected content the Protected content for Sustainable Development of the United Nations.

In this edition, after so many years, the cycle-parade of BiciRoma will also pass by S. Peter’s Cathedral, in addition to the most symbolic and fascinating points of the Capital town of Italy (Castel S. Angelo. Piazza di Spagna, Piazza Navona, Colosseum, etc.) .
