InterNations — A Community for American Expats in Seoul

Hello to all Americans in Seoul! Are you interested in getting to know fellow expats in Seoul? Looking for advice from other Americans, e.g. wondering if there are any bars in Seoul which will be showing your favorite baseball or American football team’s upcoming match or where to go in town for st■ turkey?

There’s no doubt about it: Seoul can offer a great quality of life. The capital of South Korea is a large metropolitan city known for being the birthplace of K-Pop as well as the general cultural, political, and economic center of South Korea, but also for its long history and the rapid urban development of recent decades, and much more! With the comprehensive public transportation network with bus and subway services, navigating your way around the city from one place to the next is simple. This also means that if you don’t want to live among the hustle and bustle of the center, you can enjoy a quieter life in in one of the less central districts such as Seodaemun-gu, which are less than an hour away from Seoul’s center.

Although Seoul has lots to offer, you might be wondering where and how you can meet other Americans in the city. Luckily, InterNations is here to make this easier for you! You’re warmly invited to join the InterNations community. Within our international network in Seoul, there’s a vibrant circle of American expats from all regions of USA, including New York City, Los Angeles, and beyond.
