Conference & Event Sales Candidates who sell customised events/conferences targeted at a specific industry sector – sometimes this could include information about the latest trends/developments in a particular industry. Possible evening training sessions.
Sponsorship Sales Candidates who sell companies space at events. For gold/platinum sponsors it costs a lot more but they have their corporate branding throughout the event and someone in their business will often act as guest speakers to build awareness of their brand/service/products
Candidates come from: • Publishing/Event/Conference background • Suited to those who are use to quick selling (would not suit software sales guys as the deal cycle is much longer) • Usually events are industry specific so focus is required on those well networked in a particular sector/vertical ie technology, FS, government, manufacturing, oil & gas, media & advertising
*Must have experience in Strategic Sales and has managed a team previously.
