Supply Chain Manager
For this position, only candidates who has worked in Instrumentation Companies (Mass Spectrometry, Test and Measurement Equipment) need apply. Cos such as Agilent, Teradyne, AML, Applied Materials etc.
The primary function of the Supply Chain Manager is to coordinate and manage all of the daily activities for procurement and control of materials (including Purchase Orders, Letters of Intent), inventory management, management and control of the approved vendor base (including supplier performance review and corrective actions), working with production on build plan fulfillment, incoming logistics (incoming raw materials receiving /store) and the overall responsibility for ensuring that non-conforming material and supplies are properly controlled and disposition.
Identifying skill sets to meet current and future requirements; provide cross training, internal and external learning opportunities, coaching and support, recognizing team members with potential to advance beyond their current role and to implement development plans (while managing low performers) are also required.
Other Key facets of this job include;
Develop and manage metrics (KPI) program based on requirements, continuous improvements on the KPI and business performances
KPI includes On time delivery (to customer request) for both instruments and spares, Materials availability (stock out days), inventory turns and value, inventory accuracy, Kanban implementations, MRB materials disposition, and so on.
Manage business performance on external, internal audits, including Invoice on hold and Receipt Not invoice (Finance), using ERP system (Oracle), PSI (production, sales and inventory) process and other assigned tasks
Develop operational forecasts, maintain, track forecast vs actual and meet targets.
Evaluate and optimize vendor base from both product development and production standpoint, establish risk management and ensure timely supply of all parts during Product Transfer and New Product Introduction Stage
Collate and deliver vendor performance statistics and enacting improvement plans.
Provide guidance to Buyer/Planner and serve as an escalation path when Buyer / Planner are unable to resolve issues.
Support global sourcing team on localizing materials and ramp up and down the supplies
Implement Materials Planning process and utilize to link up supply base for continuous improvements
Manage inventory levels, committing to and delivering on targets to continuously improve inventory turns
Ensure inventory accuracy and comply with all audit requirements. Identify economic order quantities, lead-times, vendor capabilities, ABC level management
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager are the Site Procurement, Receiving/Store function and production planning function that requires working with the value stream to ensure build plan fulfillment.
· Protected content than 10 years full spectrum supply chain management experience in the MNC manufacturing, last 5 years should be in a full managerial role
· Protected content in planning, buying and inventory management is a must
· Protected content SCM experience will be an advantage
