InterNations — A Community for American Expats in Turin

Hello to all Americans in Turin! Are you interested in getting to know fellow expats in Turin? Looking for advice from other Americans, e.g. wondering if there are any bars in Turin which will be showing your favorite baseball or American football team’s upcoming match or where to go in town for st■ turkey?

There’s no doubt about it: living in Turin means living in Italy’s “industrial triangle”. The capital of the Piedmont region is a northern Italian city known for being a major center for trade and industry — Fiat, Alfa Romeo, and Lancia are all headquartered here — but also for its rich culture, fascinating history, striking architecture, tasty cuisine including locally produced chocolate, and much more! With the tram, bus, underground (Metrotorino), and metropolitan railway services, navigating your way around the city from one place to the next is simple. This also means that if you don’t want to live among the hustle and bustle of the center, you can enjoy a quieter life in outer neighborhoods, such as Madonna del Pilone or Borgo Po, for example, which are a 30 to 40-minute commute away from Turin’s center.

Although Turin has lots to offer, you might be wondering where and how you can meet other Americans in the city. Luckily, InterNations is here to make this easier for you! You’re warmly invited to join the InterNations community. Within our international network in Turin, there’s a vibrant circle of American expats from all regions of USA, including New York City, Los Angeles, and beyond.
