InterNations — A Community for American Expats in Venice

Hello to all Americans in Venice! Are you interested in getting to know fellow expats in Venice? Looking for advice from other Americans, e.g. wondering if there are any bars in Venice which will be showing your favorite baseball or American football team’s upcoming match or where to go in town for st■ turkey?

There’s no doubt about it: Venice has not without reason been ranked many times as the most beautiful city in the world, making it a dreamy new home for expats. The “City of Bridges” is a major cultural city known for its charming beauty, canals, architecture, artwork, and much more! With the waterbuses and train and bus services, navigating your way around the city from one place to the next is simple. This also means that if you don’t want to live among the hustle and bustle of the center, you can enjoy a quieter life in the more residential areas, e.g. on the small neighboring islands, which are a short waterbus ride away from Venice’s center.

Although Venice has lots to offer, you might be wondering where and how you can meet other Americans in the city. Luckily, InterNations is here to make this easier for you! You’re warmly invited to join the InterNations community. Within our international network in Venice, there’s a vibrant circle of American expats from all regions of USA, including New York City, Los Angeles, and beyond.
