What will the traces left behind by our era look like?
In this temporary exhibition, Chillon Castle invites the ECAL / University of Art and Design Lausanne to take a contemporary look at its rooms, objects, inscriptions and atmospheres. Students from the Bachelor’s programmes in Graphic Design, Media & Interaction Design and Photography, and the Master’s programme in Type Design, explore this living heritage, capturing its forms, images, letters and motifs.
From this fruitful collaboration emerge contemporary, sensitive and sometimes unexpected works, in which history, design and creativity interplay. These are ‘Relics of the Future’, imagined today to tell Chillon’s story in a new light tomorrow.

We meet inside the castle, in the first courtyard, on the right, up a couple of steps
