A Hike Along the Art Trails
As the days get longer, let's get back to hiking further out from Brussels! This 14.4km hike along the "Sentiers d'Art" of the Condroz-Famenne region, starts in the picturesque village of Gesves. We will follow a stream and eventually pass by eight installations and Gesves castle.
Although this is not a difficult route, it is a hike, not a walk. No major elevation expected on this hike, but a short part is rather steep. Good fitness and shoes required. As long as it is not raining a lot, we're going to hike!
Gesves is approx 84km from Brussels - 1hr drive. Carpooling encouraged so if you are able to offer a ride, please let others know.
Bring water and a snack for picnic lunch on the way. If we find a watering hole in Gesves we can have a drink there after.
Organization of this activity is voluntary, while we look out for each other you are responsible for your own safety and well-being.
