Chakra Healing #7: Crown Chakra

This 7-part healing series is all about treating and healing each of your seven chakras. We've now advanced from your root chakra and continued up through your sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat and third eye chakras – and today we'll finish at your crown chakra.

So why heal the crown chakra (Sahasrara)?

Because the this chakra located at the top of the head, focuses on your spiritual connection and the feeling of oneness with all living things. It is the gateway to the higher consciousness, and by balancing this center, you can achieve a state of deep peace that transcends everyday stress and anxiety. You can also release limitations, freeing yourself from old thought patterns and egocentric fears, making room for expansion.

We start with a short grounding meditation, and then do 10 minutes of healing.

No prior experience of healing or meditation needed, it’s all very simple. You'll get all the instructions you need during the session (basically, take a deep breath and close your eyes).
