Free Balsamic Vinegar Tasting With an Expert Taster
On the evening of Saturday 12 September, there is a collective tasting of balsamic vinegars (Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena "ABTM") in the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the foundation of the ABTM consortium itself. The ABTM consortium has organised a series of tables hosted by its master tasters "maestri assaggiatore" who shall lead the special degustazione of vinegars of various ages. Being held in the scenic gardens of Parco di Rocca Rangoni in Spilamberto, attendance is only possible through invitation by an ABTM master taster; fortunately one is a member of this Group (who we thank) and she has kindly offered to register us under her name. After the tasting to be accompanied by crackers and like, there will be some cake and a brindisi finale! No dinner as such but, being a consortium celebration, it is free to attend. Clearly, it will be all in Italian. Early booking is highly recommended as places are limited.
