An Evening With Brahms
With Renaud Capuçon on violin and Guillaume Bellom on piano, the concert on November 19 will be one not only to listen to, but to truly experience!
The program features the performance of Johannes Brahms’s three sonatas for violin and piano — works composed over the span of ten years, each reflecting a different stage in the composer’s life.
From the intimate poetry of the Sonata No. 1 in G major, Op. 78, to the lyrical brightness of the Sonata No. 2 in A major, Op. 100, and finally to the dramatic depth of the Sonata No. 3 in D minor, Op. 108, powerful and passionate like an unrelenting dialogue.
