Let's Brunch In Roaring 20's Together
After our city tour #2 Protected content we are going to have an early lunch as artists in the 20s, in this bohemian era and in Montparnasse !
The beginning of the 20th century and the Roaring Twenties forever marked the history of Montparnasse. All the intellectual and artistic life was found in this mythical district which exalted the bohemian life.
This venue has welcomed the most prestigious figures, from Picasso to Modigliani, via Cocteau, Trotsky or even Fitzgerald and Kiki de Montparnasse...
The evolution of the restaurant is inseparable from that of the neighborhood. Created in Protected content , it was bought in Protected content Edouard Chartier but it was in Protected content major work was undertaken to give birth to this sumptuous Art Nouveau-type decor: glass roof in shimmering colors, mirrors surrounded by woodwork, long balustrade in ornate wood and soft lighting. In Protected content , Bouillon Chartier was sold, became Bouillon Rougeot and remained so until Protected content . Since then, the restaurant has gone through the ages without losing its authentic charm to finally be listed in the registers of Historic Monuments on July 16, Protected content .
Finally, in Protected content , this venue was reborn, returning to its original vocation, offering a meal worthy of the name at a low price.
