Cham by the lake also lives up to its excellent reputation during Advent, especially when the message goes out: “The Liechtliweg is open!” Instead of beautiful flowerbeds in bloom, some Protected content with candlelight create a magical, mystical atmosphere.

What’s new? ✨

- The starting point for the “Chomer Liechtliweges” is now at the “brunch area” in the Hirsgarten. From there, the route circles the Hirsgarten meadow and passes by the Hirsgarten swimming area. After crossing the bridge, it carries on into the Villette Park towards the Inseli and then sneaks behind the Restaurant Villette, down to the lake, past the “Badhüsli,” to the Rondell, continuing onto the latest section of the park and finally out along the path heading towards the railway station.
- On every evening, the Nadig family (WeinEngel) will be hosting guests with mulled wine, punch and Riesling soup.
- Musical entertainment and food/drink stalls liven up Saturday evenings.
