Walk & Talk German From Ratingen to Eggerscheidt
Wir treffen uns am S-Bahnhof Ratingen Ost und wandern durch das malerische Angertal nach Eggerscheidt. Die Route bietet eine reizvolle Landschaft im Naturschutzgebiet mit Wiesen und Wäldern.
We will meet at Ratingen-Ost S-Bahn station and hike through the picturesque Angertal valley to Eggerscheid. The route offers a charming landscape in the nature reserve with meadows and forests.
It will be a moderate walk, with one or two slightly steeper sections, of approx. 8 km in length.
We will stop along the way for refreshment breaks (Please bring your own snacks and water).
After the walk, we can have coffee, cake or else at Café and Restaurant "Liebevoll" in der Auermühle.
* ALL levels of German welcome.
** Please wear appropriate shoes and clothing.
*** Comimg from Düsseldorf, take S6 train (13:00) from Düsseldorf main station, get off at Ratingen-Ost (13:15).
For those coming by car, there is a big and free parking space (Park&Ride Ratingen-Ost S-Bahnhof, and also one under the bridge Hombergerstraße at Ost-Bahnhof)
